Venturing into the word of handguns can be intimidating to ANY new shooter. But in most training programs the language, training styles and resources available are primarily developed with men in mind. For many women this results in a classroom and range training atmosphere that doesn't fit their needs.

In the “For Women, By Women” class students learn how to safely and confidently handle a firearm, while addressing the unique challenges women may face while learning to shoot.

The class is conducted over two consecutive evenings. The first evening, students will be in the classroom learning the fundamentals of firearms safety and the basic use of handguns. The second evening, students will be on the range learning to shoot using semi-automatic handguns

Reed’s Indoor Range hosts the monthly meeting for the Silicon Valley Chapter of Armed Women of America.
