Range counter and/or Firearms counter


Requirements:

We are accepting applications from everyone, regardless of experience level.

Reed’s would prefer someone with 1-2 years of range safety experience, and/or direct firearms sales experience. However, persons with no experience and a high level of motivation are encouraged to apply.

Current knowledge of CA firearms laws, as well as understanding and knowledge of the current firearms market including popular make/model/type of firearms being sold in California is preferred.

Must be 21+ years of age.

Basic knowledge of firearm safety IS REQUIRED.

Good attention to detail and a conscientious attitude.

Must be available to work at least one weekend day as a normal part of your schedule.

Must be able to successfully apply for, and obtain, a California Certificate of Eligibility (Reed’s will pay for your COE).

 

Job Description and Duties:
Range operations and safety and/or Retail Firearms Sales:

Provide exceptional customer service in person, and via phone. Assist customers in selecting firearms and accessories that best suit their needs.

Utilize POS system to input/charge customers, and check people in/out of the range.

Ensure compliance with Range safety rules and procedures.
Properly process state and federal paperwork when selling firearms and ammunition.

Stock merchandise/products on sales floor.

Keep facility in presentable condition.

Pay:  Starting: $10,000-50,000/yr depending on experience, full-time or part-time status, and hours worked. Not including benefits/discounts!!
